Department of Veteran Affairs

Verification Program VA's large prime contractors are required to use businesses that have been officially verified for ownership and control. Therefore, the VA has established a process by which Veteran Owned Businesses can become verified that they have met all the guidelines to be considered a Veteran Owned Businesses. Verified businesses will be annotated in the database and will receive the rights to display the Verified logo in their marketing materials.
Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database Many Federal Agencies and private businesses have indicated that they can't find enough veteran-owned businesses to meet their goals and contracting. Additionally, veteran-owned businesses have mentioned that they can't afford to market to all potential Federal customers. Therefore, the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) Database was developed to support both communities to achieve their contracting goals. Register your veteran-owned small business on the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database.

PipelineNC.com
The BRAC Regional Task Force (BRAC RTF) has launched PipelineNC.com, an education and workforce Internet platform for job seekers and employers in the Fort Bragg region. PipelineNC.com aligns and integrates the area's labor supply, education, employment and training capabilities, and emerging employer occupational demands.
With thousands of people displaced from the workforce in the 11 counties surrounding Fort Bragg, the BRAC RTF developed PipelineNC.com to meet the region's employment growth needs of the future. An estimated 15,000 jobs will be created by 2013 as a result of the U.S. Army Forces Command and U.S. Army Reserve Command moves next year from Fort McPherson, Ga., to Fort Bragg, according to the BRAC RTF Comprehensive Regional Growth Plan.
PipelineNC brings a wealth of opportunities to job seekers and students who are searching for employment, or want to learn more about in-demand careers and educational resources. Employers benefit from superior matching technology and an automated recruiting process that will identify the best candidates for the job. Employers can post jobs for free or purchase a number of options including the ability to send digital postcards, or sponsor an industry-specific page.
PipelineNC.com allows job seekers and students to conduct interest assessments, define career paths, research community college and university program offerings in the region and search for employment. The intent of the VEP is to open the door to entrepreneurial opportunity and small business ownership to you, by developing your competencies in the many steps and activities associated with creating and sustaining an entrepreneurial venture, and also by helping you coordinate your efforts with programs and services for veterans and others with disabilities.
Like a military boot camp, this program is intense, rigorous, and challenging. Building upon key elements of OSU's comprehensive entrepreneurship curriculum, the program consists of a series of training modules designed to assist you in creating and growing businesses that can be profitable. They will introduce entrepreneurship ideas and concepts, and show how to apply them to your current or potential business. The VEP program is offered entirely free to qualified veterans accepted into the program. We cover the cost of transport to Stillwater, the on-line and live courses, instructors, books, materials, all food costs, and outings that are part of the program.
