The Durham VA Medical Center has opened up Saturday appointments for the Covid Vaccine
Following are the requirements for the current group! Call 919-286-0411 to schedule.
Veterans:
• Age 65 and older
• Dialysis
• Chemotherapy
• Solid organ transplant donors or recipients (this includes Veterans waiting for transplants)
• Homeless
• Living in a long-term care facility
Veteran frontline essential workers:
· Health care workers
· First responders (firefighters, police)
· Education (teachers, support staff, daycare)
· Agriculture and food processing
· Manufacturing
· Corrections workers
· U.S. Postal service workers
· Public transit workers
· Grocery store workers

2020 was an interesting year for NC VetBiz, our state and our country. The NC VetBiz Board of Directors had been in the middle of strategic planning when it had to pivot to deal with the pandemic and what it meant to deliver for our members and other stakeholder partners. In that regard, we re-evaluated our
strategy and approach to execute our plan. We decided that we would focus on two key areas: best practices in nonprofit management and delivering a unique value proposition for our members. >>read more>>
