NCMBC hosts the North Carolina Federal Environmental Symposium
Where: Wake Tech Conference Center, Wake Tech Community College Main Campus
The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) is pleased to host a unique event – industry’s opportunity to discuss future requirements for environmental and energy products and services directly with federal REQUIREMENTS OFFICIALS. Officials from all military bases in North Carolina, GSA Buildings, Services and Fleet, the Coast Guard, EPA and other federal agencies will participate.
Fact sheets will be given out in advance to all Attendees from the agencies on their exact requirements and initiatives.
The NCMBC will host the North Carolina Federal Environmental Symposium on Friday, September 10, 2010 from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm at the Wake Tech Conference Center in Raleigh, NC. Symposium partners include the Wake Tech Small Business Center, the Military Growth Task Force of North Carolina’s Eastern Region, Sustainable Sandhills and others.
The Symposium will provide a unique opportunity for industry and federal agencies and installations in North Carolina to engage in facilitated discussion about federal environmental mandates under Executive Order 13514, ongoing agency and installation initiatives to achieve these mandates, and industry’s innovative capacity to help agencies meet their outstanding requirements.
The Symposium will include a Facilitated Roundtable Series and an Environmental Trade Show. Five Roundtable sessions, held consecutively, will address the Presidential mandates in Executive Order 13514 to reduce greenhouse gas emissions toward agency-defined targets and to meet a number of energy, water and waste reduction targets.
Businesses may attend one or all Roundtables. Your company should strongly consider attending at least Roundtable1 and 2 and 5. The Roundtables will allow agencies to briefly address their ongoing initiatives and to receive input and feedback from industry on meeting their outstanding requirements.
Registration for both vendors and attendees is now open at www.ncmbc.us website, or click on the link below. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, and information is on the web page below.
